Earth Painting with Maggie
Maggie, an earth painter, wanders throughout our glorious countryside with trowel in hand harvesting colors that paint the landscape. Maybe the colors will be a vibrant red or bright yellow from Utah, or perhaps the soft greens and creams of her home state of Colorado. Even the purples hiding behind the bushes in California call to her. Carefully scraping tiny pigments into labeled jars Maggie will later mix a magic potion of different hues and then on her knees, hands swirling across a canvas, the colored fragments will take on a life of their own. Rivers flow, mountains rise, and slowly the abstracts created by Maggie give birth to one’s imagination and a sense of nature’s majesty descends upon all whom gaze upon them.
